New Games/New Look

Hi Everyone! Come on down and see the \"new look\" of The Oasis! Thanks to Randy Kriz and his crew, the exterior of the building has a whole new color, and thanks to a handful of dedicated volunteers, the weeding is done and the \"cage\" is cleared out so there is room to put bikes inside and lock them to the chain!

Inside we have made some repairs to the walls and scrubbed the floors clean. We have added a couple of new Wii games and some board games as well.

MADDEN 09 is here and ready for competition. BRING IT!

Be sure to check the calendar every week to see who is playing this weekend. Watch for FAMILY night on 8/23. You can bring your little brothers and sisters and even your parents who wonder what goes on inside. Challenge them to rock band or guitar hero. Or for real laughs, challenge them to Wii FIT!

We have two really great events coming up for your families! On Sunday, August 24th, we are holding a CAR SHOW on Center St. There will be cars (of course), food, band, and more cars. The Oasis will be open for tours for all ages so come on out and visit! The Cruisin For The Kids Car Show will be from 9 to 5 so come out and visit. Your parents won\'t want to miss the GOLF OUTING on Wednesday, September 10th at Stonewall Orchard Country Club. The cost for the entire day is $150 per person which includes lunch, personalized golf cart, 18 holes of golf, a fabulous dinner and games and prizes. There is a $17,000 boat prize for a hole in one! Hello and welcome to the Oasis! Our objective is to provide a safe, interesting and comfortable environment for people ages 12 to 18 to go to relax, mingle and have fun. Activities and amenities consist of study areas with homework help, movie areas (with a large screen TV), music areas, conversation pits, a snack bar, a stage for bands or small theatre productions, a food preparation area consisting of refrigeration units and microwaves, and contests for rock band/guitar hero/ and karaoke nights. With the help of our members, we would like to create as much fun as we can in this safe and stimulating environment tackling the idea of giving them what they want, not what we think they want. We strive to be the place of choice for students to go after school, evenings, and weekends. Come check it out!

Mondays - Rock Band/Guitar Hero
Tuesdays - Movie Night/Homework Help
Wednesdays - Rock Band/Guitar Hero
Thursdays - Movie Night/Homework Help
Fridays - Concerts
Saturdays - Karaoke

New Admission Prices

Students can attend Monday thru Thursday for the drop in fee of $2, and Saturday or Sunday for the drop in fee of $5 or they can purchase a monthly membership for $30 or an annual membership for $240. There is a one-time $10 application fee with memberships. There are discounts available for families with more than one member. Also, those purchasing the annual membership will receive a Merchant Card good for discounts at local downtown businesses.
